Furry Visitors-

This last week has been hectic, but in a good way. We dog-sat for some friends of ours while they went on a family vacation. Meet Sophie-Sophie is a boxer and such a fun girl. There's always some awkwardness as the dogs all get to know each other, but after just a few hours Sophie was was part of the family.

This picture was taken the same night she came to stay. She settled in quite nicely. We probably taught her some bad habits - She's not aloud to get up on the furniture at her house but we allow our dogs to. She didn't seem to mind that change. :) I happen to love dogs, so having all four dogs up on the couch with us was a regular occurrence all week!


Above: Sophie and Lola cuddling on Lola's bed. This quickly became Sophie's favorite place.Sophie wasn't sure about the LoveSac at first, but eventually she loved it too! Pixie was so curious about Sophie that they were joined at the hip all week. I think Pixie liked having a big "sister."

Sophie got along so well that she went everywhere with us. On Sunday we took her up to Highland to visit family. They have a large property with another dog and horses and we really wore Sophie out! She ran and ran and ran... She was a big hit. We even had some of Banks' really good friends from Texas in town and they wrestled around with her and played with her. In short, Sophie was the perfect guest. We were sad to see her go. I think Banks is worried I'll be asking for a boxer next. :)
