So, there's a funny story behind the title of this blog... Last night Banks and I went to go see Jack Johnson at Usana... So it was about the middle of the Jack's performance and he started a new song, when all of a sudden he just stops and says "What?!" like he's surprised and shocked and then he just starts laughing, so most people were just looking around confused, then he said "Oh man you just totally threw me off! Now I have to start the song all over again..." which just further confused everyone. Then he announced to the crowd that just as he started the last song a guy who was close to the stage shouted out "I want my wife to have your baby!!" and it totally threw him off. It was pretty funny. Not only was his live music REALLY enjoyable but he is a great entertainer. Very easy going it was really relaxing to just hang out under the stars and listen to some great music. Here are a few pics of Banks and I enjoying the night...
This is Banks and I during the opening acts, as you can see we are at the VERY back by the fence. More on this later.
Because we're so mature, we took a picture of the man-wedgie blocking our view most of the night
Having a laugh at our friends expense.
Jack was pretty far away, and it was dark, but I still had to get a few pictures...
The only down side to the night was the drive in/out and the parking. All in all we spent a little over three hours in the car waiting to get parked, to get out of the parking lots and on the two lane roads leading in and out of Usana. Banks was less than pleased with our experience and is dead set on writing a letter to Usana addressing this issue. The event wasn't really managed very well in that area. Jack Johnson sure brought the crowds out. Usana was full to the brim, I've never seen it so full!!! It wasn't just us either. We heard most people talking about how full it was and how they'd never seen so many people there.
I will leave you with more of my excellent photography skills.. :) This is me trying to get Banks, me AND the stage in the shot...

hahaha. I have a confession . . . my husband is the crazy one that yelled it! I googled it to see if I could get some footage. Glad to see you thought it was funny!
Honestly... who has a "melvin" for that long and knows people are behind him. Kuck-ah! I am so jealous you got to go to this concert. I totally agree that the parking and getting to Usana stinks. Love the stories!
