As many of you probably know, we purchased a fixer-upper. :) Banks has been less than pleased with that fact but has still been a good sport as we've slowly remodeled things over the last year. Our latest project is the bathrooms. We started on one of the bathrooms last week and Banks did such a good job! He also did it all by himself, NO HELP. Not even from me. He had to cut out sub flooring and put new sub flooring in and then lay new flooring, rip out the vanity and toilet, and replace plumbing and put in a new vanity and then re-secure the toilet... He worked hard! I dare any of you to try and figure out how to rip out sub floor on your second floor and then find ways to cover the holes and secure it!!! I took a few pics of the progress.. I wish I had a good before picture, but I couldn't get one, Banks ripped out the old flooring faster than I could get a picture. :)
This is Banks working hard to take out the vanity..
Before and after on the Sub flooring...

LOOK How good it looks!
It was exciting to do a project from start to finish without any BIG problems popping up to delay the job. Banks said it was "too easy, something must be wrong."
I'm just glad it's done and it was a positive experience. Banks is already ready to get started on the next bathroom!!
One down, one and a half to go! Wish us luck!!

Wow...impressive. Banks can figure out all the kinks and get it all down pat. Then send him over to my house to work on my bathrooms. Sound like a plan?
Cute Blog!! It's addicting isn't it! It was fun talking to you the other day, now I can keep up on busy lives by your blog :)
I love the new bathroom! I am totally impressed at how handy Banks is. I can't believe how much work remodeling takes and how much time too. You'll have to share the tricks of trade.
Holy Cannoli, Batman! (ya, I said it) That look so so so fabulous, I'm so excited for you! Banks gets some huge props for figuring all of that out; where do you even learn how to do all of that stuff? I'm totally impressed. Congrats!
Looks great, Jessica! So, I heard you wanted to see my blog. Send me your email address and I'll invite you. My email is adventuread@sfcn.org. See ya! ;)
